KSAMC warns promoters against mounting posters on heritage sites

The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) is threatening strong action against party promoters who mount posters on heritage sites in the Corporate Area.
Kingston's Mayor, Delroy Williams, said promoters who are guilty of  posting on heritage sites should desist from doing so.
Mr. Williams also warned promoters to ensure that persons putting up posters on their behalf do not place them at these sites.
He said party posters have been seen on historic landmarks including the clock in Cross Roads and the Ward Theatre.
Mr. Williams was speaking at Tuesday's monthly meeting of the municipal corporation, where he said he would raise the issue with promoters when he meets with them.
