Les Green displeased with JCF administrative review of five cops in May 2010 operations

Former Assistant Commissioner of Police Les Green is taking issue with the JCF's administrative review into the conduct of five cops during the May 2010 security forces operation in West Kingston calling some of the statements false and misleading.

In his letter to Police Commissioner George Quallo on Friday, Mr. Green insisted that neither he nor members of the CIB, which he led at the time, was tasked with probing the use of force by members of the security forces.

He said that was the responsibility of the Bureau of Special Investigations and not the CIB.

Mr. Green is requesting that what he called the false and misleading statements in the report be promptly addressed.

The JCF internal review document, he pointed out, has tarnished some Force members with an injustice that must be immediately addressed.
