Little progress made in probe into murder of attorney Gareth Forbes

The Constant Spring police say they are making slow progress in the probe into the murder of attorney-at-law Gareth Forbes.

Mr. Forbes was found dead at his house in Oakridge, St. Andrew, shortly after 10 o'clock last Thursday night.

The body had a bullet wound to the back and the hands and feet were bound.

Superintendent Derrick Champagnie, head of Crime for Area Five, told RJR News that investigators are still trying to determine a motive and identify who killed Mr. Forbes.

The attorney's champagne coloured Toyota Prado which was stolen, has not been found.

Superintendent Champagnie is asking members of the public who have any information on the murder to contact the Constant Spring Police, 119 or the nearest police station.
