"Major player" in guns for drugs trade pleads guilty

Gaffi Daley, who was named by police as a major player in the guns for drugs trade when he was arrested and charged last week for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act, has pleaded guilty.
 
Daley, 34, pleaded guilty to possession, trafficking and taking steps preparatory to export ganja when he appeared in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Wednesday.
 
The charges of dealing and conspiracy were withdrawn.
 
Daley was remanded until July 11 when he will be sentenced.
 
On June 3, he was held in Portmore, St. Catherine with 490 pounds of  ganja valued at $1.96 million.
