Man accused of attacking women in Santa Cruz gets bail

A man who is accused of attacking two women in Santa Cruz last month, was granted bail when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court on Tuesday. 
Kenroy Wallace, who is charged with malicious destruction of property, simple larceny and assault, had his bail set at $200,000 with surety. 
He has pleaded not guilty.
Wallace is scheduled to return to court on February 22 next year.
It was reported that on November 23, the two women were walking along Main Street in Santa Cruz when they were assaulted by Wallace.
Wallace allegedly punched one of the women in the eye, destroyed both their cell phones and took away a purse containing money.
