A man accused of fatally chopping his aunt in Peace River, Clarendon is now in police custody.
The deceased has been identified as 49 year-old Doreen Francis who was a resident of the community.
It is reported that Thursday afternoon, a dispute developed between the man and his aunt.
He reportedly used a machete to chop her.
She died while undergoing treatment at hospital.
