Vivian Vernon, the man suspect in the killing of seven year old Kadesha Cousins of West Avenue, Central Village, St. Catherine has been charged with abduction and murder.
Vernon was charged on Tuesday by the police and is scheduled to appear in court on December 9.
Kadesha's body was found on November 7 in the Rio Cobre in St. Catherine two days after she was reported missing.
She was last seen on her way to school.
