A motorist has been warned for prosecution following a crash along the Rocky Hill main road in St. Elizabeth which left a man dead.
The deceased has been identified as 38 year-old Ray Dunkley, a former police officer of Burnt Savannah in the parish.
The incident occurred about 10:30 Thursday night.
Mr. Dunkley was attempting to cross the street to attend a dance when he was hit by the car.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
