Man killed, teen injured during robbery in Kellits, Clarendon

A man was killed and a teenager wounded during a robbery Wednesday night in Kellits, Clarendon.
     
Dead is 61-year-old Arthur Lewin. A 17-year-old boy was seriously wounded. 
     
Mr. Lewin, who operated a bar near his house, was heading home about 10:30 p.m., when he was pounced on by six men, two of whom had guns.
    
They forced Mr. Lewin to enter his house, ransacked the home and stole more than $80,000 and other items.
     
They then shot Mr. Lewin several times.
    
The 17-year-old, as well as Mr. Lewin's son, who were at a party in the area, went to his assistance. The teen was shot in the abdomen by the robbers, who fled.
