The three men arrested following the discovery of a major ganja growing operation on Old Stony Hill Road in St. Andrew are scheduled to be interrogated Friday. A senior narcotics investigator told RJR News that arrangements have been made to have the men questioned in the presence of their attorneys. Investigators are awaiting a forensic report on the ganja plants seized in the operation.
The three suspects were arrested on Wednesday during a raid. The police discovered a hydroponic ganja farm at a three storey house. Approximately 100 fully grown ganja plants were found in six rooms. Several 1000 watt power inverters, generators, drums of fuel and three cars were also seized. The police said the house is registered in the name of a church organization.
