Motorist who hit cop with his car warned for prosecution

A motorist who was involved in Sunday's incident in St. Elizabeth during which he hit a policeman with his car, has been warned for prosecution and his vehicle seized.
 
The police man, attached to the Maggotty Police station was treated and released from the Black River hospital.
 
According to reports, at around 3 p.m., the officer was directing traffic at the scene of another crash when the motorist upon approaching the scene, held on to his brakes and skidded on the wet road.
 
The police man was subsequently hit.
