Dance hall artiste Movado is to appear in the Corporate Area Gun Court
Friday on gun related charges.
The 27-year old entertainer whose real name is David Brooks has been in police lock-up since Wednesday night.
He has been charged with two counts of shooting with intent and illegal possession of a firearm.
Movado was held when he showed up for questioning in connection with a shooting incident on July 27th last year.
The incident took place on Mannings Hill Road in St. Andrew.
