Nine shot dead across six police divisions

Nine people were shot dead across six police divisions between Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday morning.
 
The incidents included a double murder, which was committed on White Hall Avenue in the St. Andrew North division about 11:30 Wednesday night.
 
The deceased have been identified as 19 year old shopkeeper David Johnson of White Hall Avenue and 20 year old carpenter Shamarie Anderson of Carlisle Avenue in St. Andrew.
 
Glenmuir Ellington, 43, was killed and his two year old son shot and injured on Darlington Drive in Old Harbour in the St. Catherine South Police Division.
 
That incident occurred shortly after midnight.
 
The other killings took place in the St. Andrew South, St. Catherine North, St. James and Clarendon police divisions.
