There are to be further deliberations on the question of whether sensitive documents should be made public during the proceedings of the Commisison of Enquiry, looking into the May 2010 security forces operation in West Kingston.
Sir David Simmons, Chairman of the Commission, addressed the issue at the start of Tuesday morning's sitting.
Sir David and his fellow Commissioners met behind closed doors for more than two hours, poring over the documents which attorneys representing the Jamaica Defence Force are hoping to have exempted from disclosure. He revealed that he had completed his perusal of the documents.
The Commission Chairman added that he would be moving to undertake the perusal of the documents submitted by the Jamaica Constabulary Force, after which a ruling will be made.
