Teisha Ann Pinnock, Acting Corporate Public Relations Manager at NWC

Residents in the Corporate Area will have to longer wait longer for normality to return to the supply of water.

The National Water Commission (NWC) has again revised the schedule for completion of pipe laying activities along the Mandela Highway.

A news release from the NWC on Tuesday said the project is 87 per cent complete.

The NWC had previously set a timeline for work to be completed at the end of this month.

Teisha Ann Pinnock, Acting Corporate Public Relations Manager at NWC, said the timeline has been pushed back to October.

The revised schedule for Hagley Park Road, however, is the end of August, while for Constant Spring, it is September.

Ms Pinnock said the NWC will continue to truck water to customers.

It will also revise the water regulation schedule.
