NWC uncovers another scam

Another scam has surfaced involving persons claiming to be employees of  the National Water Commission (NWC).

In a statement yesterday, the Commission said it has received reports that unscrupulous persons have been visiting properties pretending to be representing the entity.

They include individuals claiming to be installing water saving devices such as shower heads or aerators on behalf  of  the Water Commission.

The NWC says it has no such programme.

It is reminding members of  the public that all its employees and contractors are provided with valid photographic identification cards which are to be shown upon request when seeking to enter any property to conduct legitimate business.
