An official funeral is to be held this morning at the St. Andrew Parish Church for former Govennment Minister Easton Douglas.
The former Member of Parliament died on August 26, following a long battle with cancer.
Throughout his years in the political arena, Douglas served as Minister in the Ministries of Health, Public Services , Housing, Land and the Environment.
He was also a Permanent Secretary and Government Town planner.
He was the MP for St. Andrew South Eastern from 1989 to 2002.
He will be buried at the St. Dorothy's Church grounds in Old Harbour, St. Catherine
