One of five charged in extortion ring offered bail

One of the five persons charged with extortion and conspiracy to extort was offered bail when he appeared before the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday.
Bail was set at $200,000 for 20 year old Sandre Bogle of Top Hill, Manchester.
As a condition of his bail, Mr. Bogle is to report to the Kendal Police Station twice weekly.
His co-accused, 64 year old Sheila Smith, Beko March, and Keeno Powell, were remanded.
The prosecution told the court that data, including pictures of business places in Mandeville, were extracted from the cell phones of Mr. Bogle and Mr. Powell.
The four are to return to court on May 3.

The fifth accused, Careba Salmon, who pleaded guilty to six counts of extortion, is to be sentenced on Friday in the Manchester Parish Court.
