Questions are being raised Friday afternoon about the composition of the board of oil refinery Petrojam.
The Parliamentary Opposition wants to know whether the Board has been expanded to more than ten members including two directors who live overseas.
Opposition Spokesman on Energy Phillip Paulwell said he has been informed that an additional four members were recently added to the Board by Energy Minister Fayval Williams.
Calling it a "curious decision" in light of the ongoing saga at Petrojam and the PCJ, Mr. Paulwell said the minister should provide reasons for the expansion of the board.
He also wants details on whether Petrojam will be responsible for travel arrangements of the two overseas based directors.
Efforts to reach the Energy Minister and Permanent Secretary Carol Palmer for a response were unsuccessful.
