Attorney Patrick Bailey was scheduled to be questioned Tuesday afternoon by detectives of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) probing the murder of a man at his St. Andrew home.
The body of 51 year-old Jermaine Junior, which had stab and bullet wounds, was found at Mr. Bailey's house on September 20, 2016.
The attorney gave a statement to investigators two years ago.
However, it is understood that investigators have informed Mr. Bailey's attorneys, Christopher Townsend and Carolyn Reid, that they want to collect a further statement from him on Tuesday.
It was reported that shortly after 4 a.m., Mr. Bailey found Mr. Junior's body in his living room.
A knife was found beside the body.
Mr. Junior was reportedly living at Bailey's house at the time.
The police said there was no sign of forced entry.
