Opposition Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell has hinted that there are more revelations to come in relation to corruption allegations at entities which fell under the former Science, Energy and Technology ministry.
The MP, who was speaking at a political rally in St. Catherine on Sunday night, said told supporters the details will be revealed when Parliament's Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) resumes its sittings. He continued, telling the gathering that "the Prime Minister of Jamaica is ultimately responsible for all of these scandals."
Since the controversy surrounding the Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology broke, several officials including portfolio minister Dr. Andrew Wheatley have resigned.
The latest resignation took place last week when Camille Buchanan stepped down as Managing Director of the Universal Service Fund (USF).
The PAAC, when it resumes, is also expected to probe concerns relating to the depreciation of the Jamaican dollar and former National Security Minister Robert Montague's overruling of the board of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) in 29 cases.
