A pedal cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Palmers Cross, May Pen, Clarendon on Sunday.
He has been identified as 46-year-old Mitcham Campbell of Delacree Lane, Kingston 11.
Mr. Campbell was riding his bicycle about 6:35 p.m., when he was hit from behind by a motor vehicle in the vicinity of 19 Miles. The driver did not stop.
The police were alerted and Mr. Campbell was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead while undergoing treatment.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of the motor vehicle.
