Petrojam workers restive

Workers at Petrojam are reportedly becoming increasingly agitated after wage talks between their union and the company's management ended with little progress yesterday.

The last wage and fringe benefits contract ended in March last year.

General Secretary of  the Union of  Clerical, Administrative and Supervisory Employees, John Levy, says workers are anxious to have a new deal in place.

He says the union is now hoping the matter can be settled at a meeting next week Friday at the Finance Ministry.
