PNP supporter injured during stoning of motorcade

A female supporter of the People's National Party (PNP) was injured on Thursday night when a motorcade traveling through Chapman in St Elizabeth was stoned.

The woman was hit in the face and had to be taken to hospital.
    
The police are maintaining a presence in the area.
    
The motorcade which was heading to Junction for a PNP rally, where Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, president of the PNP, was the featured speaker.
