Police charge "major player" in East Kingston violence

A man said to be a major player in the violence in East Kingston, has been charged.
     
Anthony Johnson, otherwise called "Screw" was charged Friday afternoon under the anti-gang legislation.
     
He has also been charged with other crimes committed in the Kingston Eastern Police Division.
     
Mr. Johnson was picked up early this week as part of the police's crack down on the ongoing violence between rival gunmen from Oliver Road and Jarrett Lane in Rockfort, St. Andrew.
