Police Federation asks members for more time to review wage offer

The Central Executive of the Police Federation has asked its members for more time to evaluate the government's latest wage offer.
 
In a communique to its members, the Central Executive said it received a new offer from the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday.
 
The Federation said the document was submitted by Deputy Financial Secretary Wayne Jones.
 
It told its members that the consultation will be conducted speedily.
 
The Federation urged its members to be patient while it tries to finalise an acceptable deal with the government.
