Police Federation holds more talks with Finance Ministry

The Police Federation is meeting with Finance Ministry officials in another round of wage negotiations.
The meeting was scheduled to begin at 11 0'clock.
It is expected that the Federation's concern about the planned payment of retroactive salaries to public sector workers this month will be discussed.
Police Federation Chairman Sergeant Cecil McCalla has said if the Finance Ministry goes ahead and pays the members despite no wage agreement being signed, it would be a serious breach of trust and good faith.
Rank and file members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force have rejected the 16 per cent wage offer.
