The Central Executive of the Police Federation is meeting with its delegates to review a new wage offer submitted by the Ministry of Finance.
The offer was submitted Tuesday morning during a meeting at the Ministry.
The Central Executive of the Federation is slated to inform rank and file members of the force later Tuesday evening, whether it has accepted the offer.
The Police Federation has rejected several wage offers, insisting that the 16 per cent increase over four years was unacceptable to its members.
The Federation had urged the Prime Minister to intervene in the impasse.
