Investigators are reportedly following several leads in their probe into the murder of 78 year-old Hyacinthia Wright, the widow of former Mayor of Falmouth, Joseph Wright.
This was confirmed on Thursday night by Superintendent Clive Blair, head of the Trelawny Police.
However, he said detectives had not yet identified a suspect.
Mrs. Wright was found dead at her business place on Trelawny Street shortly before 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
She was stabbed in the neck.
