Police orders investigation into Alkaline's 'After All' video

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ealan Powell

Police Commissioner George Quallo has ordered an immediate investigation into the making of a music video by popular Dancehall entertainer Alkaline.

In the video titled "After All", men are seen carrying M16 rifles and handguns. A woman is also seen wearing a police uniform.

"In the video, we saw quite a number of men with guns, men who seem to be experts at using their guns. We are conducting an investigation into the making of this video and the use of those guns in the video," said Assistant Commissioner of Police Ealan Powell, speaking on RJR's Beyond The Headlines on Monday.

ACP Powell said everyone associated with the making of the video is now under investigation, including Alkaline and his management team.

"I have spoken to one person already... There are quite a number of other interviews that are lined up," said the senior cop.

Alkaline was questioned by the police in relation to a murder in Marverly, St. Andrew, earlier this year.
