The police are probing the death of a man in Yallahs, St. Thomas Friday morning.
It is reported that about 4 o'clock, 47 year-old Richard Smith of Hylton Lane was asleep when an intruder entered his house and slashed his throat.
Mr. Smith walked to the Yallahs police station, which is almost a kilometre away, and reported the incident.
He was taken to the hospital where he died.
No motive has been established for the attack.
