Police probing possible cases of human trafficking after teens picked up in Port Henderson raid

At least three branches of the Jamaica Constabulary Force are involved in the investigation of possible human trafficking of two girls who were picked up during Tuesday's operation on Port Henderson Road, also known as Back Road in St. Catherine.

Contact has been made with the family of the 15 year old teenagers who are in State Care.

One was reported missing in St. Ann three months ago.

Superintendent Leighton Grey, Operations Officer for the St. Catherine South Police, told RJR News that the St. Ann police are investigating whether charges should be laid against the parents of the teen.

It is not known which parish the other teenager is from.
