Professor Gordon Shirley
The Police Service Commission chaired by Professor Gordon Shirley is expected to complete questioning the two remaining short listed candidates for the post of Police Commissioner.
RJR News has been informed that Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Crime Karl Williams and Deputy Commissioner Delworth Heath are scheduled to appear before the panel.
Acting Commissioner Glenmore Hinds; Deputy Commissioner Clifford Blake; Deputy Commissioner James Golding; and Assistant Commissioner Novlette Grant have already been interviewed.
It was unclear whether Assistant Commissioner Leon Rose and Deputy Commissioner Linval Bailey made the short list.
National Security Minister Peter Bunting has signalled that the new Police Commissioner will be named this month.
