Reggae Girlz to open Olympic qualifiers against St Lucia

The Reggae Girlz will open their account in the Caribbean round of the Olympic Games qualifiers against St Lucia on September 30. Jamaica will be relishing the opportunity to play the Eastern Caribbean side as their biggest win in international football came against St Lucia as they won 14-0 in 2014.

Two days later, the Jamaicans will oppose Cuba and then close out the group stages against Barbados and the US Virgin Islands on October 4 and 6 respectively. All of their games will be played at the Stadium East. Only the group winner will advance to the CONCACAF final round and join USA, Mexico and Canada. The CONCACAF final round is scheduled for February of 2020. Only the top two teams in the region will book their spot to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
