A twelve-member jury began hearing testimony on Thursday at the re-trial of two fishermen, accused of killing three children during an arson attack on their home in Portmore, St Catherine, ten years ago.
The Appeal Court had ordered the re-trial of Rohan Mccarthy and Ricardo Britton for the September 14, 2004 murder of five-year-old twins Tyrique and Tyrone Henry and three-year-old Moesha Leebegan.
Prosecutors reported that McCarthy and Britton, threw petrol bombs on the three bedroom board house of the children's mother, Pansy Henry, during a domestic dispute. The children died in the blaze. Six other occupants, including Ms Henry and three children, escaped.
