Ricardo Allicock appointed Ambassador to Japan

Ricardo Allicock is Jamaica’s new Ambassador to Tokyo, Japan. The Ambassador-designate, who will start his tour of duty in mid-August, is a career diplomat who has been with the Jamaican Foreign Service for 12 years.

Mr. Allicock is currently the director of the Bilateral Affairs Department at the Foreign Affairs Ministry. He was the Chief of Protocol in the Ministry from 2008 to 2012 and before that served as Consul General in Miami.
