Firefighters at the Santa Cruz fire station in St. Elizabeth say they are being affected by a dust nuisance due to the unpaved area in front of the facility.
They are asking the St. Elizabeth Municipal Corporation to lobby the Ministry of Local Government to provide funds to pave the area.
The firefighters, who spoke with RJR News on the weekend, say many of them suffer from respiratory problems which they believe can be eliminated once the area is paved.
