Search on for escapees from Linstead police lock-up

The police are continuing a manhunt for five of the six detainees who escaped from the Linstead police lock-up in St. Catherine earlier on Wednesday.
 
The police say they went to make checks about 9:30 and discovered several of the inmates missing.
 
Twenty-five year old Shane Wellington of Cassava Pond, Ewarton, St. Catherine, who has been charged with murder is among those on the run.
 
He reportedly frequents Ewarton and Breadnut Hill in St. Ann.
 
Two residents of Banbury in Linstead, 28 year old Ezroy Cohen and 24 year old Damoin Daley, are also at large.
 
Banbury is charged for burglary and rape, while Daley is charged for Arson.
 
Also on a rape charge is 22 year old Daniel James of Troja, St. Catherine, while 29 year old Anthony Jarrett, of Mountain Pass, Linstead and Church Pen, Old Harbour, both in St. Catherine, is charged for murder.
 
Alwayne Shakespear, the sixth prisoner who escaped custody, was recaptured in the Linstead Market.
