Second suspect arrested in relation to shooting death of vendor on Mona Road

The Half-Way-Tree Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with last week's fatal shooting of a fruit vendor on Mona Road in St. Andrew.
 
He was captured on Wednesday during an operation in August Town, St. Andrew.
 
Another suspect was picked up last week.
 
The vendor was shot at his stall by men travelling on motorcycles.
 
Investigators say the vendor, who lived in August Town, was killed as part of the ongoing violence in the area.
 
In the last week, several suspected gunmen have been arrested by the Half-Way-Tree Police in raids aimed at stemming gang violence in August Town.
