Security forces searching for gang members responsible for shooting death in St. James

The police and military in St. James are searching for members of a criminal gang linked to Monday morning's attack which left a security guard dead and several motorists terrified.
The deceased, Lloyd Johnson, was killed at the intersection of Barracks Road and Barnett Street shortly after 10 o'clock.
Mr. Johnson was transporting cash to a location when two gunmen walked up to his vehicle while he was in traffic.
The gunmen opened gunfire on the vehicle in an apparent attempt to steal the cash.
Mr. Johnson was shot several times.
The guard managed to drive his car to the next intersection before crashing into another vehicle.
He died at the scene.
His killers escaped without the cash.
Four other vehicles were damaged by bullets as the drivers and pedestrians scampered for cover.
