Security guards arrested for breaching firearms act

Three security guards who were reportedly assigned to a resort in St Ann have been arrested for breaches of  the Firearms Act.

The men, one of  who is said to be a supervisor, were reportedly found carrying firearms without the required documentation or permits.The guards were attached to a security firm, which was contracted by a company employed by the resort.

The police have widened their probe to the companies implicated in the matter.
