A man, who was labeled by the police as a serial rapist, was remanded when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court on Wednesday.
Peter Collash, who is charged with three counts of rape and abduction, was remanded until July 20. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Mr. Collash was on the St. Elizabeth police most wanted list for several years, following allegations from several women that they were sexually assaulted while traveling in a car which he operated as a taxi on the Black River-to-Treasure Beach route.
After eluding the police for years, he was captured on April 30 this year on the Goshen main road in St. Elizabeth.
