Seven more COVID-19 related deaths confirmed

COVID-19 has claimed seven more lives in Jamaica.
 
The number of persons who have died from the virus has increased to 751.
 
Three of the deaths occurred in St. Andrew, while St. James, Westmoreland, St. Mary and St. Catherine each recorded one death.
 
The Ministry of Health is investigating two more deaths.
 
Additionally, Jamaica's COVID-19 case count has increased to 44,502 after 165 cases were confirmed Wednesday from 938 samples.
 
The positivity rate remains at 15.7 per cent.
 
The number of active cases has increased to 23,259.
 
However, hospitalisations declined to 269.
 
Twenty-six patients are critical.
