Son of incarcerated gang leader Joel Andem sentenced to four months in prison for gun possession

The 17 year old son of imprisoned gang leader Joel Andem, has been sentenced to four months in prison for gun possession.
He was sentenced last week before the Family Court after he pleaded guilty to possession of an AK47 rifle and 15 rounds of ammunition.
The teenager was arrested and charged ten months ago after he was held in possession of the rifle during a police operation in Lease Land in Papine, St. Andrew.
He is also awaiting trial on a charge of raping a minor.
