St. Mary man accused of rape, captured

A St. Mary man who was on the run for almost two years was arrested and charged with three counts of rape on Friday morning.
Renaldo Reynolds, 37, of Islington was picked up by detectives assigned to the Port Maria police station following an operation in Three Hills, Retreat, St. Mary about 4:00 a.m.
He eluded police in 2015 after a report was filed against him for sexually assaulting a 16 year-old girl on three occasions in 2013.
He reportedly fled the area and was residing in Kingston.
Mr. Reynolds is scheduled to appear before the St. Mary Parish Court on February 21.
