The matter brought by the St. Thomas Health Department against the National Water Commission (NWC) is to be heard in the St Thomas Parish Court next month.

The Health Department says sewage continues to flow onto the road despite repeated warnings.
The President and Vice-President of the NWC appeared before the Parish Court yesterday to answer the claim that the Water Commission has been releasing effluent from the Prospect Sewage Treatment Plant.
When the matter came up for mention yesterday, the court was told that the summons had not been served.
Following several notices from the health department, the NWC has implemented temporary measures.
However, waste water from the plant is accumulating on Beach Drive close to homes and causing health problems.
