St. Thomas man who confessed to killing girlfriend remanded

A man who reportedly confessed to killing his girlfriend was remanded when he appeared in the St. Thomas Parish Court on Friday.
The court was told that files, including the post mortem report, were outstanding.
The body of 36 year old Latisha Bravo of Linstead, St. Catherine was found in a shallow grave last month.
According to the police, on March 18, Ms Bravo visited her boyfriend, a mason of Duhaney Pen in St. Thomas.
The following day an argument developed between them.
It is alleged that he strangled her.
He then hid the body under his bed and went to work.
It's reported that he took her body to the seaside in Duhaney Pen and buried it later in the day.
Later that same night, the St. Thomas Police received information that she was reported missing.
Following investigations, the boyfriend was taken into custody where he confessed to the killing.
He then led the police to the shallow grave.
Lawson is to return to the St. Thomas Parish Court on May 4.
