St. Thomas residents appeal for repairs on road to Buckingham cemetery

Residents of Font Hill in St. Thomas are appealing to the authorities to quickly repair the road leading to the Buckingham cemetery.

They say the recent heavy rainfalls have left the road badly scoured, making it impassable to vehicular traffic.

They are now concerned that with at least three planned funerals for next week, the bad road is posing a serious challenge to relatives who have been attempting to transport building material to the cemetery and had not been able to do so.

They are calling on their political representatives to come to their assistance.
