Deputy Superintendent Paul Bernard, Operations Officer for the Clarendon Police
The police on Thursday discovered parts of seven stolen motor cars in Mocho, Clarendon as they intensified their clamp down on a car stealing ring in the parish.
This is the second time this week that the police discovered stolen cars in the parish.
Deputy Superintendent Paul Bernard, Operations Officer for the Clarendon Police, told RJR News the police believe the cars were stolen elsewhere then taken to bushes in Mocho where they were scrapped and burnt.
On Tuesday the police discovered a large quantity of car parts in Bucks Avenue in May Pen.
Four persons were detained.
