The Ministry of Health says all the students from Duckensfield Primary School in St. Thomas who were rushed to hospital yesterday after consuming pills appear to be in good health.
They have been discharged from the hospital.
Eighteen students were taken to Prince Margaret Hospital on the advice of the Ministry of Health, while a nineteenth student was treated at a private medical facility.
Chief Medical Officer for Health Dr. Jacqueline Bisasor McKenzie says the children did not fall ill, as was previously reported.
She said that once,the results of the tests received, the children will be taken to a medical facility for further review.
it was reported that a man gave the children the pills.
